Did you know that about 35 million adults in the US visited a chiropractor in the previous year? According to a recent poll, 77% of the 60 + million people who have visited a chiropractor in the last 5 years have found it to be a very effective form of treatment.
The way it typically works is that a chiropractor will first perform a physical exam, conduct a laboratory analysis and X-ray exam, and evaluate the health history of a potential patient. They will pay specific attention to the spine and also assess the person’s bone density.
The chiropractor uses a range of time-honored methods to locate, analyze and gently correct misalignments in the spine. They will, however, not use any drugs or invasive surgery, but only natural healing methods. For example, a chiropractor will use their hands to apply controlled rapid force to an injured or damaged joint to allow it to move normally as well as reduce pain and inflammation.
